It is as if cramps of stomach muscles when I'm trying to get

Resolved Question:

Good morning. It is as if cramps of stomach muscles when I'm trying to get up from bed, while it is OK when I'm standing or sitting. I first felt it day ago and it is worse tonight. I'm wondering what this could be and whether any urgent action is required.

Probably since it is getting worse from yesterday i do think you should be examined in first place and relevant investigations like ultrasound abdomen,X-Ray of Abdomen(Standing) may be considered.

Usually cramping in abdomen is usually due to intestines cramps but you don't have any other GI symptoms as of now.

I started exercising two weeks ago (slow running). Could be just cramps?

Muscle cramps can occur in abdominal muscles as well.

You can check your blood pressure, pulse, body temperature as well.

Electrolyte imbalance can cause muscle cramping.

Oral Rehydration therapy may be helpful.

Temperture 37.2, puls 70 per minute. When walking or sitting no pain. Did not try to lie down.

Thanks for all these additional information.
I understand your concern.

Well you should try some self care measures to see if your symptoms'll resolve.

You should hydrate yourself with plenty of fluids.

Take OTC Naproxen and Zantac.

Also try metamucil and Mylanta gas.

You should do warm compresses with a heating pad on affected area.

Also gradually try to lie down with putting pillows on your back.

You should do deep breathing.

And if your symptoms'll get worse over the time then see a doctor ASAP.

Experimented a bit. Yes it is uncontrolled abdominal muscles contraction when they come into use. Electrolytic disbalance sounds like a good explaination. OK, fluids for start and Zantac etc when get to farmacy. Thanks!
