Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing internist. Excellent service is my goal.

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 7 months ago.

what is her baseline?

is she taking supplements?

what is her iron level?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
She is not here to answer these questions.... all I know is they said that her count had dropped to 8.8 ... I am not sure of her iron level I am certain that it is low.Her last test showed some concerns with her Kidney. She drinks a fair amount of wine and is taking some kind of drug to give her energy and mental focus...( seems to work for a day and then it gets worse unless she takes more). Not sure what is depleting the blood count.

Please just answer based upon what I have stated...my wife is not here....I cannot afford to pay any more.
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 7 months ago.

No problem Alton

Well, do we know if she is on iron tablets?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
she takes iron tablets and eats spinach etc.
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 7 months ago.

Okay good.

The kidney function is closely involved in red cell count.

She needs this addressed

that is probably the main reason for the drop

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Would wine and supplements deplete count?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 7 months ago.

Absolutely

and affect kidney function
