Customer Question

I was diagnosed with terminal prostrate cancer in 2009. in 2012 I went on to aberiterone at £900 a week paid by NHS. since February this year I have been admitted to hospital 4 times with sepsis and one of pneumonia. I have not seen or heard from my consultant for six months. I saw her yesterday and she told me there is nothing else they can do for me and refered me to a hospice. I think I need a second opinion.

I am sorry you have terminal prostate cancer

you should talk to a chemotherapy doctor , also called a medical oncologist.

have you received taxotere chemotherapy for your prostate cancer?

how about xytiga or xtandi? these can help as well.

has the prostate cancer spread to your bone?

if so, you may be able to receive xofigo which can extend your survival

do you have bone pain? palliative radiation therapy can help with this.
