How can i help my husband?
Expert:  Dr Uzair replied 8 months ago.

In diabetic patients bloating is common problem due to slow emptying of stomach. You can give him tablet metoclopramide 10 mg ( available OTC) at least 15 minutes before meals twice a day to improve his symptoms. Try to give him small frequent meals. Encourage him to walk atleast 30 minutes after taking meals.

Hope this helps.
