Expert:  Dr Basu replied 3 months ago.

ok.
Given these symptoms you will need to get thorough neurological evaluation.
Change in personality, reclusiveness, are signs of frontal cognitive function change.
Change in vision, insomnia, and urinary retention also can be due to the degenerative changes in the brain.
Progressive supranuclear palsy can run in the families although uncommon.
Normal pressure hydrocephalus, multiple sclerosis are other possibilities as well.
Please see a neurologist, also get a MRI scan of the brain with contrast.
Best wishes

Thank you so much for your reply just one last question what are the chances of it being psychological rather than a physical disease?
Expert:  Dr Basu replied 3 months ago.

There is a good chance since degenerative neurological disorders like supranuclear palsy are rare in occurrence.

Best wishes
