Do you think its a burning pain at night? ? Is it more around your joints or in the muscles?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Feels like bone pain in shins worst pain at night as soon as I lie down, eases a bit when I lie on my back with knees bent
Expert:  Dr.Saleem replied 1 month ago.

Well you need a few tests here . Like RA factor, ESR / CRP, CBC, Serum Uric acid levels, ANA , serum Calcium levels, DEXA scan to look for bone mineral density, an x ray on your shins, serum and urine light chains.

Night time bone / joint pains should be taken seriously to rule out anything more sinister like bone tumours for example.

You will need pain relief like naproxen or mild opioids like tramadol till then.

Hope it helped

I've had the blood test all clear so I imagine i will have some bone X-rays done next. It's driving me mad, I know I shouldn't google back can't seam to come up with my exact symptoms.
I was just a bit worried as we are going away for a long weekend break and my pain is getting worse. Have tried to get earlier appointment to no avail.

I have been given gabapentin but I only really take it if I have to, I'm finding nytol is giving me a better interrupted sleep.
Expert:  Dr.Saleem replied 1 month ago.

Yes i can imagine , its quite frustrating. But except the pain relief i cant quite recommend you anything more till we get the x rays done. Pain relief should hopefully help. Naproxen and gabapentin both will help.
