Hi - just disconnect the battery earth cable and the airbag can be safely disconnected and removed.
there are 2 torx screws accessed through holes in the rear of the steering wheel - unscrew these & pull the airbag out of the wheel to disconnect the electrical connector and remove the bag
Remove the centre bolt in the centre of the steering wheel - ensure the wheel is in the straight ahead position first. This bolt should be replaced after every use. Remove the steering wheel.
Unscrew the 3 screws from the clockspring for the airbag & carefully remove - do not remove the screws completely and do not turn this
Remove the steering angle sensor and unscrew the bolts for the combination switch to remove and replace
Refit in reverse order
Best regards, Paul
