I have a 2009 ml350 cdi sport, is there a way of switching the headlight beam for use in Europe without resorting to stickers.? I do not have xenon.
Mercedes garage seems unsure!

Hi,

Yes, there is a lever inside the headlamp next to the reflector accessed from the rear of the headlamp (after removing the cover to get to the bulbs) that you can use to switch the beam pattern to continental driving.

Your model is a 164 & is the first diagram in the document.

They are quite awkward to find & can be quite flimsy - I would recommend getting your dealer to switch them over as i have known customers to break them when they are not used to doing this & this requires a complete new headlamp!
