Re S 320 CDI loss of power and going into limp mode. turbo replaced and other associated parts, no affect. Just changed Oxygen sensor which was caked with carbon with no affect. what could be the problem

Hi,

there are many possibilities for the engine going into limp mode & in the first instance I would recommend that the vehicle is checked on a diagnostic tool to see what fault codes are stored as this will help pinpoint the cause of your problem.

Probably the most common problem we see on this engine (especially if the turbo & O2 sensor is ok) is a faulty inlet port shutoff motor (and in some cases the actual inlet ports in the intake manifolds seized).

I would definately have the car checked for codes to confirm this however!
