I have run the installation, and the shortcut is there on the desktop but when I try to run Office it says that it's not installed
Hi. I tried that, in fact I'd tried it before and it didn't work. the un-install doesn't remove the short cut icon and the click to run programme doesn't seem to activate it. all I get is a message saying the sort cut can't open an uninstalled programme
I installed revo expert but I cant find Office amongst the list of programmes it gives
It doesn't show, but there are lots of programmes called Microsoft visual C++ etc.
Perhaps it has been removed and only the short cut remains. Should I proceed to the c cleaner stage?
I did all that and now it didn't even install the files or the shortcut. so I'm in a worse position than when we started
The only options I have are changing the name of the old user or being a guest. I thought my user on the laptop and my account with Microsoft were two different things. can you clarify?
I think so but there was no 'manage another' option. all I did was change the name and make myself an administrator
Thanks. Is there a way to restart without using the power button?
