Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

The user account and password that you are using, if you go to my link below

www.hotmail.com

Are you able to log in with this account?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have already carried out the proceedure you suggest four times, changing the password each time and with the same negative result. Your proceedure has not helped.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
There was no procedure George,

I am asking you a question

Can you answer it please?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

when I logged in to Hotmail I was into the password change routine and as before could not get my password accepted.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
ok, so you were not able to log into your hotmail account correct George?

this is all I need to know.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes your comment above is correct.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
ok, if you cannot log into the account this is why you cannot do the upgrade.

What stopped you from resetting your password George on that site?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I did reset the password, three times, each with the same negative result. That is, each password was labelled as incorrect.
