Hello and thank you for your question today. My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.

Jason :

Did you lose emails in Outlook or have you lost the whole Outlook application?

Customer:

Jason :

Thank you for the update.

May I please, start a remote screen sharing session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem? No extra charge.

Jason :

Are you having any problems with running that remote application after it is downloaded?

Which Internet browser are you currently using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or something of the like)?

Customer:

Internet Explorer, the whole trouble started when I upgraded Windows 8 to 8.1, I have also lost my documents, pictures, etc.

Jason :

Curious

Customer:

Jason :

Let's try this remote option.

- Please, click the following link, download that file, and run the file: https://secure.join.me/Download.aspx?webdownload=true
- Then download and allow that remote app to run.
- Once it is finished, please, tell me the 9 digit number that appears on the top of your screen.

Thank you.

Customer:

cant see the 9 digit number yet, will it take some time?

Jason :

That depends. Did you run the application?

Customer:

Jason :

You must open the downloads window, double click the Join.me application that was downloaded and then run it.

Jason :

oh okay

Jason :

Do you see the "Join.ME" button on the bottom of your screen, on the start bar?

Customer:

no, don't have a start bar

Jason :

Oh okay.

Jason :

That is the bar that shows all the running programs.

Jason :

On the bottom of your screen.

Expert:  Jason Jones replied 4 years ago.
Yes.
I fixed the problem again for you and disconnected.

You can close that window, if you wish.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

but it is not downloading, do you want me to go into the orion file recovery

Expert:  Jason Jones replied 4 years ago.

What are you speaking of?

The Orion File Recovery application is running to restore your files and has nothing to do with Outlook.

When you want to access Outlook, simply click the Outlook icon.

If you need help with something else not related to Outlook, please, create a new question, as I am not allowed to work on and spend time on unrelated items.
