Are you using Sky go Desktop on your computer?

Microsoft recommendation is to Uninstall the current Sky app then reinstall

When you removed the Sky Desktop did you happen to uninstall Silverlight and install the latest version of Silverlight. Then reboot your computer. Then install the Sky Desktop
