I am using Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.3.9. I am having

I am using Outlook for Mac 2011 version 14.3.9.
I am having difficulty sending emails. This comes up

Authentication denied (VM320)Your user name/password XXXXX settings may be incorrect.Would you like to try re-entering your password?

I (together with my email provider Virgin) have double checked all security settings/passwords etc. They are all fine.

Every now and again I can send say 6 emails. Then it goes back to giving me that answer above. Any thoughts

The first step I want to start with is to rebuild the identity please.

Can you close all programs.

Then hold the Option key down and with it held down, open Outlook.

This will take you to the Identity manager.

Click on the Main Identity and then click Rebuild.

Let this complete and when it has, restart the computer and tell me if you can now send.

thanks for helping me - my first question before I rebuild the identity is around all the current emails that are filed within my outlook - are you sure I will not lose these files or my contacts that are in Outlook

NO - after successful rebuild I still cant' send an email - same message box came up

you can't open the applicaiton TEamviewerQS because Microsoft windows applications are not supported on OSX

Yes I will - important info - after I restarted the computer I was able to send email so I started to send tests and after sending 10 emails I'm back to the same authentication box alert that I mentioned in my first comment to you.
