I do not appear to be able to download applications. And I have not had any updates from Microsoft for months. I tried to update from Microsoft but it was blocked. I have used McAfee and Malware to scan for viruses ,but they both were unable to sort my problem.

It will not download and the message read....Team Viewer_Setup_en.exe contained a virus and was deleted......this is the message I have received when I tried to download anything.

HAve you tried starting the Machine in Safemode to see if you still have an issue?

Please do this


1) If the Machine is on Power it Off
2) Power the Machine on
3) As soon as it comes on Tap F8 >Keep Tapping
4) The advanced Boot Menu will come up
5) Scroll down to "safemode with networking" Press Enter

Let me know if the problem Still happend in Safemode

see if you can download in safemode

Ok do this

Follow these 5 simple steps to roll the machine back to when you had no problems.

You will lose no personal Data It only effects system files


1) Click Start in the search box type "System restore"
2) click the icon a box will pop up click Next
3) tick the box show all Restore points
4) Choose one before you had an issue
5) Click Next , yes , finish


The Machine Will restart and restore
