Hi James,

Have successfully undertaken Factory Repair as you suggested, but am now having trouble in re-installing Office as Microsoft do not recognise my Office Product key. Whilst I know that Office Home and Student is a one PC Installation, sujrely there must be some way to re-install on the same PC in the situation I'm now in.

Canyou help?

Michael

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
Have you logged into your office account and downloaded the installer again

from there you can Deactive the current install ?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Am trying to but Microsoft wont recognise my earlier account(s) which were used to first install and then later reijnstall when we were working together.

Expert:  James K. replied 3 years ago.
we need to log into the orginal account and deactive the install , have you tried resetting the password
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Sorry to be late back on - had visitors.

I'll try to log into the original account and will come back to you

Hi James,

Success at last, office re-installed and operating - it a bit of time and liason with Microsoft to unstitch things, but got there in the end.

Thanks, Michael.
