I have an issue with my firewall, as I cannot download my Tomtom go 500 update. I spoke to tomtom and they inturn told me to contact Microsoft. I have a windows 8.1 laptop. can you help.

how are you downloading the update connecting the Tomtom on a computer and then downloading it from the internet to your computer.

Microsoft massage says a drive is required but I do not know how to get one installed

well, I suppose I have another usb port but I don't see how that will make any difference?

some times running usb 2.0 device on a 3.0 usb port does not work and you get error.

an adobe reader update was available and downloaded successfully, I am now waiting to see if the tomtom download will be successful.
