I have Open Office on my new pc but when I use Word I am unable to access the block alignment facility for the text. Is there a way around this?

No I haven't run the open office repair. You will need to guide me through it as I am something of a dummy! Sorry.

Close Open office
Click Start >control Panel > programs and features
Uninstall a program
Find the Open office Program in the List
Highlight Click change at the Top
~then Click repair and Let it run and test
Let me know any issues
