Hello. My name is ***** ***** I can help you solve your problem. Thank you for your question. My goal is to provide excellent customer service.
Did you use a Win 7 Update CD or install Win 7 from scratch?
It was built in when I purchased it but do have a cd
cd is a 64bit software upgrade dated 2009 X15-60501-01 but do download lastest versions online on a regular basis
Sorry. I do not understand. You said that you upgraded the OS that came on your laptop. Did you use a CD? Was that CD a completed OS or was it an OS upgrade CD?
I am asking about your other laptop, the one that will not boot.
yes realise that (pc that won't reboot). It was preloaded with win 7 but came with upgrade disc as well
it just says an upgrade not full OS
Upgrade from what version to what version?
it had 7 on it and disc is for upgarde but I do have a license key
I cannot help you, because you have not answered my last question. Read it carefully. It has tow parts. I need two version numbers for an answer.
upgarde from xp to 7
upgrade from xp to 7
Thank you. If your other laptop has a native Win 7 OS on it, the upgrade CD is of no use. It is okay though. Just irrelevant. You can restore your Win 7 from a restore point saved before the last update.
You may be able to boot in safe mode by turning it off for one minute and then turning it on and pressing the F8 key repetitively until the Boot Options screen appears.
