do you have your data backed up
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

of course I didnt! hahahaha

Expert:  James K. replied 1 year ago.
Oh dear
you can do a factory restore
but it will wipe all data ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

I saw that option in advanced........ will using an earlier restore point than previously be worth trying before I wipe all my data?

Expert:  James K. replied 1 year ago.
you can try
But i think your corrupted which means a factory restore is the best option back to day 1 condition
good job you had that data backed up :)
et me know when restored
also please rate my service with the smiley Faces and submit
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

No, it didnt work. Guess I have to do the dirty deed and do a factory restart, how do I go about this?

Expert:  James K. replied 1 year ago.
Correct
Same >Advanced repair options >
factory Restore /image
it may give you the option to save your data also , some do
run the program
the machine will be back to day 1 condition

Just remove my files

Clean the drive fully will wipe the drive
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  James K. replied 1 year ago.
You need a clean Install as your files are not the issue
