I am operating Windows 7 to activate Microsoft Office Basic

Customer Question

I am operating Windows 7 to activate Microsoft Office Basic 2007
Regularly either Word or Excel freezes for anything between 1 and 10 minutes. By freezes I mean nothing works and the programme cannot be closed. It is shown as "Not Responding".
One option is to force closure and reboot.
Any nideas what I can do to eliminate the problem?

The repair function has certainly speeded up these applications but I shall need a couple of days to find out whether it has eliminated the freezing problem.
