When attempting to log into my Media account I get

Customer Question

When attempting to log into my Virgin Media account I get some messages from Windows 7 Home Premium which prevent me making any progress for approximately 15 minutes. Occasionally the same messages crop up and interfere with programmes which I am watching. The messages are as follows:
Configuring windows updates 62 % completed. Do not turn off your computer. then
Failure updating windows. Reverting updates. Do not turn off your computer.
After that I can enter my password ***** log in.
Can you please delete these messages so that I can resume normal service

Please note, click on Reply to Expert to reply to me, a rating is only needed when we are finished.
Click Start, type in MSCONFIG and press enter.
Click on the Startup Tab and click Disable All.
Click on the Services Tab and click "Hide All Microsoft Services"
Then click Disable All
Click ok, restart and then try to sign in, it may once more try to update, let it and tell me if it then completes please.
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.
Let me know the results please
