Other than installing Windows 10 on your laptop, have you made any changes to your printer recently?

This current laptop I am using now has also had windows 10 download and is able to connect and print to the wireless printer!

I see. You will need to remove the printer on your Windows 10 computer that is not able to connect to the wireless printer and then re-add the printer. Here is how to do it: 1. Move the mouse cursor over the Windows Start button located in the bottom left corner, right-click it and select "Control Panel"2. On the Control Panel window, click on "Hardware and Sound" and then on "Devices and Printers"3. Locate your printer, right-click it and select "Remove device". Confirm by clicking "Yes"4. Now click on the "Add a printer" button located at the top. Windows will start looking for your printer. Once you see it, select it and click "Next". Follow the on-screen instructions to re-install it5. When done, your printer will be ready to use Let me know if this worked.

The add printer does not recognise the wireless printer and will not add to printer list ! I have tried to do this several times to no avail!

After many attempts, it turned out that Lexmark Z1420 printer is not compatible with Windows 10. Your options are to either downgrade to Windows 7, or to get a new printer. I am very sorry for the bad news! In case there is anything else I can help you with, let me know.Regards,IT Miro
