I am unable to send email in outlook - I can receive them OK. When I try to send an error comes up - 0X8004010F. I have reset password ***** account details but it still doesnt work

I'm not sure it is outlook 2010 if that helps

ok, thats outlook, I need to know the version of windows sorry, in order to give the correct instructions. I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you. Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse. My email has now reloaded and I can now send emails but the sent mail is now empty, so is my calendar and the outbox I had with email in it has gone but the email have not arrived.

I do not know as you have set up outlook initially so you could be using anything.
check it properly to see if there is anything else you used as only you would know this.
