The smtp.talktalk.net password ***** the client for purposes of sending & receiving emails is not being accepted and cannot be changed whereas the email talktalk account password ***** be changed.

can you open your email client, go to tools and select accounts,select your talktalk account and press change.
go to SERVERS tab. can you check "my server requires authentication" checkbox and press ok, and try to send again.
