Recently Microsoft Outlook 2007 stopped me from sending/receiving

Resolved Question:

Recently Microsoft Outlook 2007 stopped me from sending/receiving emails from my Gmail email. So I bought Outlook 2013 ! Still no joy but a lighter wallet.
Two error messages appear on Outlook asking me for my password ***** server SMPT.gmail.com & server pop.gmail.com. Wont accept my Gmail email / Gmail account password ***** has worked fine on Outlook for many a year and continues to work on Google Mail site.
I rather like Outlook & would like to get back to it.
Any thoughts?

Hi, and thank you for asking your question. It looks like some security settings might have gotten changed for your Gmail account, hence you are not able to link it with Outlook now. May I set up a quick, secure remote session to check the issue now? Please reply back using the box below. Thank you.

I'll then be connected; thank you.
