I have created totals in the sub form footer and they seam

I have created totals in the sub form footer and they seam to work fine. However, when I try to display them on my main form, I get an error. I am working in Access 2013. I cannot seam to find anything to say the method of accessing it from the main form has changed.
I put in =[sfmTotPmt].[Form]![TotRemAmt] and get #Name? when I run the form
I checked again and again. The names are ***** ***** correctly

Hi,I'm not great at Excel but I do update / programme a sales excel spread sheet myself.I also know a couple of people who are good withit..The best thing might be to use the "secure remote control spftware" on this site, or are you able to email it across?... With regards ***** ***** / misspellings, have you tried cutting and pasting them?Many Thanks,Steve.
