This morning both excel and word began saying they are

Resolved Question:

this morning both excel and word began saying they are (unlicensed product) which they are not.
within about 30 seconds of opening both programs, they freeze, becoming unresponsive.
then an error message pops up,
"we're sorry but Word has run into an error that prevents it from running correctly. Word will need to be closed as a result.
Would you like us to repair now?"
Then three buttons: Repair now / Help / Close
Have tried repair now with no results, help links to Microsoft community page
does the same thing when run in safe mode
Any ideas please?!

I'm sorry about the issue. What's your Microsoft Office / Word / Excel version, such as 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, etc.?

Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac computer?

I am word and excel 2013 as part of office package I think
and my computer is running windows 8 or 10 but not totally sure. sorry!yes a remote support session would be great. what do I need to do?
