ok, What I want you to do is in windows live mail, click on File, Accounts and remove the account there.
Once done, add the account but choose Other
Then select iMap
For the incoming server use these settings
Server name: imap-mail.outlook.comPort: 993Encryption method: SSL
And for the outgoing server use
Server name: smtp-mail.outlook.comPort: 587Encryption method: TLS
You will see port settings, when you click on more settings, then advance.
Then make sure on the outgoing server settings (under more settings) you choose to use authentication and use the same settings as the incoming server
It should then add correctly and allow you to use it
I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you.
