Following a change to Windows 10. I have been asked to confirm my password ***** e-mails. This I have done and it has been accepted for three days, but not this morning. I submitted a new password. I number was sent to my wife's email address. I input this to my request, they confirmed to my wife that this was accepted, and all was now well.

When they sent the number to your wife, this was the verification code that you needed to enter in. Did you enter this in to change the password?

I can see you are a first time user to the site. What we do here is either a question and answer type of conversation or remote support where I would actually connect to the computer and have a look and attempt to fix the problem for you.

Remote support can save a lot of time if you are not comfortable performing repairs yourself. Sometimes even with instructions you can make a mistake and make things worse.
