I am unable to send and receive emails from outlook.com on line email address. This is the message I receive:

Does this occur with all messages you send? Try sending something simple to your self like

To: <your email>

Subject: Test

Test

and see what happens.

has your account been compromised recently? If you are just sending out a simple test message there should be nothing that should trip the outgoing spam filters... which could mean Microsoft has flagged your account as sending spam. Do you do high volume e-mailing from this account?

Hi,Not that I am aware of....what do you mean by compromised? I do not believe tnhat my account has been hacked or anything suspicious like that. I also cannot send an email from another address to this address although it does appear in the sent box. I have never until yesterday had emails from my employer go into Junk email either, so there is definitely a change of some sort but I do not know what or why.

In answer to your other question, no i don't send high volumes of messages from this account.

Try going to this web page, log in with your outlook online details and complete the verification steps.

Then try sending the test e-mail again and see if it goes through. You should receive the message you sent to yourself without the '533 5.4.0 Your message seems to have triggered our junk email filters.

Also, go into your signature settings.... click on the gear icon in the upper right, then options, then on the left side of the screen click email signature under Mail>Layout

make sure there's nothing wierd in the signature box.

Hi,The same error has occurred....I did actually try the verification steps earlier with no joy. My email signature has nothing odd/weird that I am aware of.

You are trying to do this from the actual outlook.com website correct? Not through an e-mail program?

No, I mean when you try to send the e-mails... are you using a web browser and going to the outlook.com website, or are you using a dedicated e-mail program like outlook or windows mail

I am using the web browser, I type in outlook.com and then open the mailbox with my username and password. Sorry, I only just got your earlier message

okay. This may be something account-specific that you'll have to contact microsoft about or we can try to do a remote assistance session where I can try to check into it by remote-controlling your PC.
