when changing website page under 'design' something has changed the view and it now shows a mixture of the normal page plus yellow code boxes all over the page ,presumably I have clicked on something to change the view, can you assist please

Microsoft Front page 2003, yes I know it is old but I know it so well. I can send you an image of the design page which suddenly started showing a mix of standard image of thepage and code boxes all over the place ,and I cannot get back to the standard design view. Am I assured it is OK to allow you into my pc ,are you familiar with front page programme ? thanks Chris

Have you tried resetting to default?

  1. Start FrontPage 2003.
  2. On Help menu, click Detect and Repair.
  3. Click to select the Discard my customized settings and restore default settings check box, and then click Start.
  4. Quit FrontPage 2003, and then click Ignore.
  5. Click OK when you receive the following message:
