Hi Greg
The alternator is a re- con one
Hi Mark

Can this be changed on the warranty, as this is a typical issue
for a failed alternator , like t=you to try this first .

Hi Greg
Yes I can change the alternator under warranty ,
But would rather use that as a last chance saloon,

Is there another avenue I could explore first ?

Mark

Hi Mark .

Yes check all fuses under the dash and bonnet with a test light ,i say all as i don't have the diagram for your model , all it takes if for the fuse to be blown or a bad connection .
Check that the earth cable on the battery to the chassis then to the engine block are clean , the cable to the chassis from the battery is a common failure point.
