Mitsubishi Repair & Maintenance Questions? Ask a Mechanic Online
Hi there, the U - joints are pretty straight forward. Depending on what tools you have available.
Just make sure you mark the prop shaft prior to removal.
then the most common way to remove them with basic at home tools
is to remove the C - clips with a screwdriver
then using a socket and a vice
place a socket the size of the inner joint on one side and a larger socket on the opposite side and press it out with the vice.
they also make multiple universal joint removal tools to use with a vise and even c-clamp version joint removals for an at home job.
any of the above will work just fine.
