I have a VP Shunt in place (10 years for IIH - male 50years old )
I am getting stomach problems diahoreha vomiting (3 times in last 2 weeks )
could this be caused by csf drain ?
have contacted GP who has brushed this idear away !

It is possible but the question is why would it have started after this many years?
I would consider it as a possibility though
you may want a shunt series to check the shunt is working properly
Also, consider other options like gall bladder issues.
