I think it is a D40. Reg. SP56 YDV

yes the vehicle is a D40.

With regard to the valve clearances on this model there is no specified interval, if you feel there is excessive valve train noise then check the clearances. The figures for these are,

Inlet 0.24 to 0.32mm

Exhaust 0.26 to 0.34mm.

The clearances should be checked on a cold engine.
