the truck is in 4lo i assume?
It was in 4lo but since I've re-wired ABS sensor it is in 4wd
you still with me
this chat box is giving me fits, sorry
have you placed the transmission in neutral?
Yes but nothing changed
why di you re-wire the ABS sensor?
Did diagnostics and came up with fault at rear nearside abs sensor faulty and when checked, the wire had broke. Once repaired the abs light went out and was then able to come out of 4lo for the first time into 4wd but not 2w
Try placing the truck in reverse and move back a few feet
then press the brake and place the truck in neutral again.
shift back to 4lo
then attempt to place back in 2wd
tried it drove up and down yard changing from 4wl to 2wl did not work
thanks did you place it back in 4lo
before putting it in neutral and shifting back to 2wd?
just making sure?
does it flash when you attempt to change it?
no it reads 4wl
ok, so it's in 4lo then still.
but it would let you change to 4hi in neutral you said correct?
ok, i don't wan't to sound repetetive, but if your not getting any warning lights when attempting to change. then you try again by placing it in neutral and back into 2wd.
cause generally when one of the switches is bad
or the transfer device
you get a fault
will get back to you in morning when at yard thanks paul
and make sure the ATP light is not on
assuming it's an auto
because if ti can't detect a neutral position
it won't let you shift out of 4wd
ok, they use the PNP switch to detect the neutral condition.
did you press the clutch in to shift from 4lo to 2wd?
yes read manual and tried what it said
shoot me a message tomorrow when your at the truck
and well see whats going on
hi jake removed rear switch unit from transfer box and used screew driver to manuley put in 2 wheel drive it woorked all good now thanks paul
