I have a 2004 Primera and suddenly I have an intermittent warning

Resolved Question:

I have a 2004 Primera and suddenly I have an intermittent warning signal which just says 'SECURE' When this happens I cannot use the screen for any other purpose. My local Nissan dealer says I must pay £85 to have it checked. Is this right, or can I cancel the warning by myself?

Yes this is correct the system has to be scanned for fault codes using a dealer diagnostic tool, the light is also cleared out using the same tool. There is not another way around this.
