I HAVE A NISSAN EL GRAN AND HAVE TAKEN OUT THE FACTORY CD PLAYER INSTALLED AN ENGLISH SAT NAV, RADIO, DVD HAVE TROUBLE HOLDING SIGNAL STRENGTH THOUGHT FIRST OF ALL IT WAS BAD RECEPTION BUT HAVE NOW THROUGH MANY HOURS OF PATIENT STRUGGLING HAVE PUT IT DOWN TO INTERFERENCE GENERATED FROM THE VEHICLE ITSELF WITH OR WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING ELIMINATING THE ALTERNATOR. I AM JUST THEREFORE WONDERING COULD THIS BE FROM THE 100VOLT AC VOLTAGE CONVERTER OR ANY IDEAS. IT SEEMS ALMOST AS THOUGH THERE IS SOME RF SIGNALS JAMMING SIGNALS, OTHER THAN REALLY STRONG ONES, THESE ALSO ARE EFFECTIVE BY CONSTANT HASH. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Can I just ask - have you tried feeding the radio aerial plug - with a separate antenna - separate from the vehicle - to see if that cures the issue?
