Customer Question

NOISY ENGINE ALMERA SVE 1.5 2004:WHIRRLING NOISE: CEASES WHEN STATIONARY?

Hi there, a whirring or roaring sound that ceases while the vehicle is stationary, but the engine is still running is usually caused by a bad wheel hub bearing.

Usually you can put the car on a lift, or jack up a corner at a time and spin the wheel by hand to see which on is at fault.

Let me know if you need anything else. thanks.
