Nissan Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hey there, this was a fairly common problem on these trucks
what happens is there dust cover on the prop shaft lets water in
water in the transfer case in return shorts out the sensors
and causes the problems your experiencing
to correct it, you simply drain the case, replace the 3 sensors, and install the new revised prop shaft dust boot
to correct the issue.
If you do the repairs yourself you will spend around $250
The dealer service department will charge close to $500
let me know if you have any other questions
