That is peculiar. Have you tried disconnecting the battery terminals and holding them together to reset the nav unit?
No I havn,t done anything with it

its not uncommon to have an electric glitch with the nav unit.
By disconnecting battery do I risk losing the radio, is it security coded.
In the U.S. we do not have security codes for the radio.
they do not lock, if yours has a security code it should have come on a card in the owners manual.
I know some u.k. and Australian variants do have security codes unlike ours though so you may want to check that
So your answer is to disconnect the battery terminals and hold together and then reconnect. This should then reset the Sat Nav.

yes, that is what I want you to do.
we see alot of glitches like this in the NAV units across multiple models that is easily fixed by doing what I said.
if for some reason it did not fix your problem, we could do more testing.
