Hi..there..

Either disconnect the battery negative for upto 30mins and then reconnect or done by scan tool with the ability to interogate the Airbag module and clear the fault codes that currently stored, before which taking anote of the codes that stored first before clearing - this is of course the fault has been rectified will the Airbag warning go out once its done it self test at ignition cycle..if not then you need to find out what the fault codes are before you make further checks...

disconnected battery for 30 min did not solve the problem.

You havent tried the original answer.you've only tried one part of it..so its not an incomplete answer...if one option to get that warning off doesnt work then you have to move to the next as i highlighted above..of course noboby likes to hear that but sadly thats your only option to solve the issue...so your next option is to get scanned and cleared of the stored fault codes

I am aware that it can be turned off by the scan tool, but that method costs 60euro plus vat, there was no fault incurred as the under seat cables were dissconnected properly and then assembled in the same order,i was of the understanding you could sort the problem without going to a garage,I await your reply
