Hi Maurice .

What plugs do you have fitted ,if Bosch replace with NGK.

What Causes a P0300 Code?
  • Low Fuel Pressure
  • Vacuum Leak
  • EGR system malfunction
  • Internal Engine Problems (such as low compression)

Less Common Causes
  • Faulty Coil
  • Faulty Spark Plugs and/or Wires
  • Camshaft or Crankshaft sensors
  • Ignition module
  • Computer

First do a fuel pressure test and if found good do a cylinder leak down test .

Then any vacuum leaks should be checked ,if st fuel trim is +10 and over manifold leak .

EGR system also a typical problem to cause a P0300 code .

Engine condition check that cylinder compression is above 8bars and all even .

NOW IF YOU HAVE HIGH MILEAGE .

The most common issue for this engine to set a P0300 code is the timing chain has slightly streached and will need replacing ,if on start up you hear a slight engine chain rattle then this is your problem .

Check the above and if needed please get back to me with the reply button, and not the poor or bad service, this way i can get back to you or suggest another expert if needed.
