Dr Owen :

Hello

Dr Owen :

Well at 14 weeks and having only one child, and I assume you have had 2 losses - you should get seen

Dr Owen :

So this means that you should be seen at least by Emergency physicians - as you might have what is known as cervical incompetence, where the cervix is opening or shortening - and this should be evaluated as soon as possible.

Dr Owen :

You might also have an Urinary tract infection - and hence this can cause these symptoms you are having - and an UTI - urinary tract infection can cause a problem with the uterus and can even cause a miscarriage.

Dr Owen :

So I would suggest getting seen in the Emergency department and if there is a pregnancy problem - it should be taken care of.

Dr Owen :

I hope this helps
