Dr Owen :

Hello

Dr Owen :

okay, well there are close to about 100 different variants of HPV

Dr Owen :

the Reason why they look SPECIFICALLY for HPV 16 and HPV 18 is because these are the two most common causes of cervical cancer

Dr Owen :

So for you since you had a NORMAL PAP and no HPV 16/18, and Just OTHER variants of HPV - you do not need to worry - all the report is telling you is that you have been exposed to other HPV types such as those that 'might' cause a wart

Dr Owen :

I hope that helps

Dr Owen :

You do not need to worry

Dr Owen :

thank you
