Dr Owen :

Hello

Dr Owen :

what type of cancer did you have?

Dr Owen :

are you in remission from that cancer?

Dr Owen :

How big is this mass?

Dr Owen :

So you are saying the mass when away when you got the CT scan?

Customer:

hiya i have ovarian cancer and they removed everything 14 years ago and ater they did a ct scan ib feb i got a phone call 2 weeks ago telling me they found a mess at the top of my vigina and they have sent me for a m r i, they said they couldnt feel anything but its there

Dr Owen :

okay so this is SMALL then?

Customer:

dont know but when i went for my m r i scan the lady who did it was upset

Customer:

ive beeb having loads of pain

Customer:

been

Dr Owen :

I understand people and you are concerned and upset - but let's try to stick to facts here

Dr Owen :

so you do not know the size, but you are in pain in this area?

Customer:

my stomach is like a football

Customer:

my pelvis legs stomach bowels hurt

Dr Owen :

was this like this Prior to the CT scan/ MRI and is that why you got the scans

Customer:

and sex is a no no

Dr Owen :

okay - let's try to stick to facts here

Dr Owen :

so when did this pain start?

Dr Owen :

When did you have the scans?

Customer:

they sent me ib feb for a c t scan because i was losing weight and stuffer from verigo, i had my ct in feb they said it was fine then i got a phone call 2 weeks ago saying it wasnt they made a mistake

Dr Owen :

you mean vertigo?

Customer:

the pain as got worse this past month

Customer:

yes sorry dislexic

Dr Owen :

okay - what type of ovarian cancer did you have?

Dr Owen :

How were you treated for the ovarian cancer?

Customer:

it was a cyst to start of with them it grow to a size of a orange , so they removed everything so i have nothing left

Dr Owen :

okay - that is not what I was asking

Dr Owen :

I am asking What TYPE of ovarian cancer was this -

Dr Owen :

did they just tell you it was cancer even though it was just a cyst

Customer:

dont know,they never said sorry

Dr Owen :

did you have chemotherapy?

Dr Owen :

did you have radiation?

Customer:

no nothing

Dr Owen :

okay then did NOT have a cancer

Dr Owen :

you just had an ovarian cyst - but not a cancer

Dr Owen :

if you had ovarian cancer and just received surgery - and you are still alive (which you are) and did not receive chemotherapy and radiation - you did not have a true cancer.

Customer:

they said ,after i had a 125 blood test they found out it was

Dr Owen :

okay - a few things

Dr Owen :

If you had true ovarian cancer you would have had chemotherapy (loose hair, etc) and radiation

Dr Owen :

CA125 is NOT a test for cancer.

Dr Owen :

so GOING back to the pain then

Dr Owen :

with a mass you have on this CT / MRI - this could be a cyst of some type

Customer:

lower back pain to

Dr Owen :

and hence what Is needed to be done - you need a CT guided biopsy to figure out what this 'mass' is

Customer:

can u get cysts without a womb

Dr Owen :

Yes you can -

Dr Owen :

this is in the vaginal area - so this could be a vaginal cyst

Customer:

bloody things , lol

Dr Owen :

Yes I know

Dr Owen :

so I strongly suggest getting seen by a VERY good ob/gyn who actually does pelvic reconstruction - since you have already had a hysterectomy already

Customer:

i am seeing a dr at the hospital down here ,i ont like them nuch they keep making mistakes with me , can these cysts make u sleep a lot

Dr Owen :

well the sleepiness is not from the cysts

Dr Owen :

but you might have some anxiety and fear from this - and hence making you very sleepy

Customer:

i am so tied all the time

Dr Owen :

but cysts themselves will not cause you to sleep

Dr Owen :

Also, since you are 51 - that in of itself can be a causal factor in making you feel sleepy too

Customer:

something is wrong u know, i know my body , an i dont feel right

Dr Owen :

I know -

Dr Owen :

Well first step first

Dr Owen :

you need to get this area biopsied - usually guided with the CT scanner

Dr Owen :

I would suggest getting your thyroid checked too - you might have a low thyroid - causing you to be sleeping

Customer:

ive aged so much this last few weeks i look terrible ,ive god bags under my eyes and look like the walking died

Dr Owen :

that is because you are very anxious about this

Dr Owen :

but first thing first -as I have explained about...

Dr Owen :

Get this biopsied

Dr Owen :

Get your thyroid evaluated.

Dr Owen :

Also, get checked for blood pressure

Dr Owen :

your blood sugar should be checked

Dr Owen :

So ALL things that you should Normally get checked -

Customer:

i suffer from high col

Dr Owen :

these things are not usually a cancer - but something simple

Customer:

so talking tabs for that and my blood presser is low

Dr Owen :

ok

Customer:

lol am i boring u

Dr Owen :

I have answered your questions...I see you have been making statements.

Dr Owen :

I can help you with your questions

Dr Owen :

but like I have said

Dr Owen :

you should get this biopsied

Dr Owen :

you need to get your thyroid checked

Dr Owen :

you should get the routine things done too - because many times a routine physical will find what is really wrong.

Dr Owen :

and this mass or cyst might not be anything concerning

Customer:

thats for info , hope this scan tomorrow will shed some light on it , wow c t scan m ri scan now this other good night kind dr and thank u

Customer:

thanks
