Hi, the midwife last night said I should wait for regular

Resolved Question:

Hi,
the midwife last night said I should wait for regular contractions or if my waters broke. Nothing of that happened so I am still at home.
The problem with the pain in my pelvic area dont disappear though... I still have lots of pain in my bones down there. I can hardly walk. I have small non regular contractions. I dont know what to do

Dr Owen :

Hello

Dr Owen :

When is your due date?

Customer:

it was 2 days ago

Dr Owen :

Well given the pain you are having - your could be in labor - and you could be very dilated even if your membranes are intact

Dr Owen :

So you need to get your cervix checked to see if you are dilating

Customer:

i called the hospital last night. the modwife said that these are hormons and unless I get regular contractions or my waters broke I should stay at home.

Customer:

I feel sick as well

Dr Owen :

hormones - no, that is not hormones

Customer:

Shall I just go to the hospital?

Dr Owen :

You are 2 days past your due date

Dr Owen :

I would just SHOW up at the hospital and they would then have to check your cervix

Customer:

thank you

Dr Owen :

you are welcome

Dr Owen :

have a good day
