Dr. K. :

These pills do not prevent pregnancy

Dr. K. :

It will be helpful to know how far along you are when you have an ultrasound and whether or not you were on the pills at the time of conception

Dr. K. :

Most likely there is no increase in birth defects with the use of progesterones. Some studies indicate a small increase in cardiac defects, but it is a very small risk.

Dr. K. :

You are likely very safe and your unborn child should not be affected.
