I recently turned 42 yrs two days ago and have had two shorter

Resolved Question:

I recently turned 42 yrs two days ago and have had two shorter consecutive menstrual cycles, which are normally a 28/29 cycle.
My period started on 16 May'15 and on 13 Jun'15 (normal cycle length and normal period length 6/7 days). I had unprotected sex on 30 Jun'15 (negative pregnancy test) and since then I have been slightly dizzy and have mild headaches along with shorter cycles. Period started early on 8/07/15 (lighter period) and on 03/08/15.
Went to my GP last week prior to this period starting on 3 August and told it is likely stress, as it appears to be a one off. My previous cycles have been regular - it is not early menopause. But, my current cycle came early again.
Don't understand what is happening.

Hello,
as the hormonal cycle is a very sensitive process, it can easily be affected by a lot of influences like for example stress, or even climate changes. Therefore the bleeding procedure can vary as in Your case without a serious reason. Helpfull can be the use of monk's pepper [Vitex agnus-castus] which has a cycle stabilising effect.
However, there´s no reason to worry.
